The Sacred Agreements

As we continue to show up for ourselves and each other, we kindly ask the community for shared commitments for growing + healing. These agreements ensure the integrity of our mission of supporting everyone together.

The Grower’s Committment

  • You will be gifted a plant of known genus and species.

  • The plant must be nurtured organically. No spray just water and love.

  • Upon notification it’s time to harvest, across the following few days, you will prune your individual plants, trimming the stems with the leaves on. Please only harvest the plant you have been gifted.

  • These aerial parts will need to dry before being bagged by the group. Dry by hanging upside down in a dry/clean space or lay sprigs on paper towels or in a cardboard box.

  • Keep them away from moisture and bugs to avoid mold and please monitor them closely.    

  • Once dried (after about 1 week), we will assemble as a group with the dried plant material. We will cut, sift, bag, label and hand out the plants for wider community distribution.

  • Neiki Solana Beach will be the meeting space and hub for the collective. Anyone who can’t make it, please drop their materials off at any point before the meeting (Wed-Sun, 10-6) at Neiki Solana Beach located at 301 N Highway 101 in Solana Beach.

The Healing Recipient Committment

  • The medicinal plant will be distributed within the community based on the healing actions of the plant matching the need of the recipient.

  • Your participation will be kept completely confidential, except for the The Growing Sage Collective Board.

  • You will need to sign an informed consent.

  • You will also need to honor the commitment to follow the instructions and offer feedback on your personal experience.

  • While names will remain confidential, your story and experience will be shared with the community.
